What do you love most about Santa Cruz?

I’ve lived in Santa Cruz since 1990, the year after the quake.
Downtown was a tent city basically. People were afraid, shaken, but didn’t give up. The spirit of Santa Cruz lives on. What do I love about Santa Cruz? The people! Creative, tolerant, enlightened, social, geeky.
